
Creamfields scooped the award for ‘Best Dance Festival’ at the 2009 UK Festival Awards, the 3rd time the festival has won. This clocks up a record 12 awards overall for Creamfields since its birth in 1998.
With a stunning line up that stayed true to the festival’s dance roots, highlights included a surprise appearance from Calvin Harris who joined collaborator Dizzee Rascal’s for a surprise performance and David Guetta declaring he had “played his best ever set” to a full capacity crowd in the Cream arena.

Creamfields also added to its extensive line-up of International shows by staging the first ever dance festival in the United Arab Emirates ‘Creamfields Abu Dhabi’, and staging its first Creamfields festival in the Ukraine.
