Pete Tong and Alesso Join Swedish House Mafia @ Milton Keynes Bowl

We are pleased to announce Pete Tong and Alesso are the latest acts to be added to the ever growing line up for the Swedish House Mafia’s ‘One Night Stand’ show at Milton Keynes Bowl on 14^th July 2012.

These two new additions follow last week’s announcement of Calvin Harris and pop/house producer Madeon who also joined the bill for the gargantuan 9 hour long event that’s tipped to be the dance event of the summer.

As the UK’s best loved DJ and host of BBC Radio 1’s groundbreaking Essential Selection show Pete Tong’s legacy in electronic music history is legendary. He is the master of merging the underground with the mainstream and responsible for breaking some of the biggest tracks over the last 20 years. When Pete speaks people listen, and with millions tuning into ‘something for the weekend’ this makes Pete the voice of the dance music generation. Another artiste to break through over the last couple of years is Sebastian Ingrosso’s protégé Alesso. At only 19 years old and with massive productions including ‘Calling’ and ‘Raise Your Head’ already under his belt, his fanbase continues to grow receiving accolades from the likes of Tiësto, Avici and Sander van Doorn. 2012 is set to be Alesso’s year.

Above & Beyond Group Therapy 2012 UK Tour Announced

Since the release of their second artist album “Group Therapy” (“the biggest artist album of the year 5*.” Mixmag), Above & Beyond have toured the stadium’s and concert halls of the world – creating an electric vibe wherever they go. For 2012, the globe-trotting Above & Beyond will embark on their biggest UK tour to date kicking off at London’s most prestigious concert venue Brixton’s O2 Academy on Saturday 7^th April 2012 followed by performances in Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool, Newcastle and Glasgow - bringing the full Group Therapy production with them.

The Group Therapy show offers a unique dancefloor experience to fans, with emotive visuals telling the tale of the tracks being played and live video messaging from the band adding to the story-telling theme. Featuring previously unheard and exclusive club mixes of the tracks on the album, the April tour will represent the Above & Beyond experience at its biggest, boldest and most electrifying.

In the US, Above & Beyond’s now numerous multi-date tours have seen them sell out the famed Hollywood Palladium in record time and rock a crowd of 80,000 at the Los Angeles Coliseum. In Australia, they have performed to capacity crowds at world famous venues like Hordern Pavilion in Sydney and Festival Hall in Melbourne. For the 400th episode of their celebrated Trance Around The World radio show, they even ventured deep into the Middle East with an 8 hour live broadcast from Beirut, Lebanon. Meanwhile their Anjunabeats label continues to unearth some of the freshest talent in the scene, culminating in a nomination for Best Record Label in this year’s DJ Mag Best Of British Awards.

Plastikman Live 1.5 Aftershow Announced + Richie Hawtin DJ Set

Richie Hawtin will wrap up his iconic Plastikman Live 1.5 UK Tour with an aftershow party at The Arches following the sold out Glasgow Barrowlands show on Saturday 3rd December.

We are also pleased to announce that in addition to support from Magda, Gaiser presents Void and Ambivalent, Richie Hawtin will close out the Manchester Academy show on Thursday 1st December with an exclusive 60 minute DJ set in addition to his earlier Plastikman live performance.

The award winning live show, unveiled at superclub Amnesia in Ibiza earlier this year will incorporate brand new Plastikman music, visuals and interactive technologies developed by Hawtin and his extensive production team.

As with all previous dates, Plastikman Live will be fully interactive for any fans with the free SYNK iPhone application, which itself has been re-launched with new features including a live chat, live behind-the-curtain camera feed and more interactive elements, making the show one of the only genuinely interactive concert experiences in the world today.

Tickets for the Aftershow party at The Arches in Glasgow are on sale 9am Friday 18th November.

Creamfields wins again at UK Festival Awards!

We are beyond excited to announce that Creamfields scooped the award for the third consecutive year for Best Dance Event at this years UK Festival Awards, and the fifth time we’ve walked away with the award since it began 8 years ago. The Award ceremony which this year took place at London’s Roundhouse Theatre was hosted by the awesome Cuban Brothers, who kept the great and the good from the UK festival scene entertained throughout the night.
