The capacity is increased to 40,000 each day and the site expands to accommodate the demand for campers.  For the 2nd year running Creamfields attracts record breaking numbers and sells out a month in advance.

The idyllic Cheshire countryside saw stand out performances from the likes of deadmau5 and David Guetta, who attracted crowds of over 25,000 people alone.

On Saturday David Guetta announced mid  “Creamfields is the biggest party on the planet” much to the delight of the crowd. Whilst Sunday saw performances from Tiesto, Swedish House Mafia who said “Creamfields was their best show of the Summer” and Calvin Harris revealed that it would be his last ever gig with his band.

Despite an increase of 10,000 people to the capacity of the festival, Creamfields’ intimate and boutique feel still shone through, with the majority of ticket holders choosing to camp between the standard and luxury campsites and people enjoying the array of non musical on site attractions.

To top off its best year in the festivals history , Creamfields wins the award for ‘Best Dance Event’ in the UK Festival Awards for the 2nd year running and is also voted ‘Festival Of The Year’ in the highly coveted industry Music Week Awards, beating the likes of Glastonbury, V and IOW Festival.

Creamfields goes to Oz for the first time, and stages 4 festivals across Australia.
